About the Buenos Aires Tetra
Originally hailing from the varied waterways of South America, the Buenos Aires Tetra is one of the hardiest tetras available in the hobby. Growing up to 7 cm, it boasts a robust silver body accented by a distinct black diamond at the tail base and striking reddish fins. While its hardiness makes it incredibly appealing, its boisterous nature and penchant for plant destruction mean it requires a carefully planned setup rather than a standard planted community tank.
