Yes, but it requires extreme patience. It is already a very slow-growing plant, and without CO2 injection, it may take several months to over a year to spread into a noticeably dense carpet. Using a nutrient-rich substrate will greatly help.

How do I plant Cryptocoryne parva?

If you buy it in a pot or tissue culture, carefully wash away the rockwool or gel. Separate the clump into several smaller portions (each with a few leaves and roots) and plant them into a nutrient-rich substrate about 2-3 cm apart using aquascaping tweezers.
