About the Endler's Livebearer
Endler's Livebearer is a spectacular nano fish that brings constant movement and brilliant flashes of colour to the aquarium. First documented in 1937 and later rediscovered by Dr John Endler in 1975, these tiny relatives of the common guppy boast iridescent metallic patches of orange, green, and black. They are incredibly hardy and active, making them a fantastic choice for both novice and experienced aquarists. Because of their diminutive size, they are perfect for planted nano aquariums.

Habitat
Warm, hard, highly mineralised and sometimes slightly brackish shallow pools, lakes, and streams in Venezuela, often dense with unicellular green algae.
Populations in the wild are increasingly threatened by habitat loss and a rubbish dump built adjacent to the Laguna de los Patos.
