No. European Perch are strict coldwater fish. Keeping them in heated water will drastically shorten their lifespan and cause severe stress. If kept indoors, you may actually need an aquarium chiller during the summer.

They thrive on a varied carnivorous diet including earthworms, lancefish, prawns, and mussels. Many can also be trained to accept large, sinking carnivore pellets.

Can they be kept with goldfish or koi?

They can be kept with large Koi or adult pond fish that are too big to be eaten. However, small or fancy goldfish should be avoided, as the perch will either eat them or nip their trailing fins.
