About the Golden Wonder Killifish
The Golden Wonder Killifish is a selectively bred, vibrant yellow-gold morph of the wild Striped Panchax (*Aplocheilus lineatus*). Known for their bright metallic sheen, these fish are elongated, pike-like ambush predators that spend almost all their time patrolling the water surface. Unlike many popular killifish species, they are not 'annuals' and can live for several years in the home aquarium. They are remarkably hardy and adaptable, making them a fantastic entry point into keeping killifish, provided their predatory nature is respected.
