About the Grass Carp
The Grass Carp is an immense, torpedo-shaped cyprinid native to the large rivers of East Asia. Revered and deployed worldwide for its voracious appetite for aquatic vegetation, this species is a biological lawnmower. Due to their enormous adult size—frequently exceeding a metre in length—they are unsuitable for average garden ponds and are best reserved for private lakes or monumental water features.
