About the Pink Skunk Clownfish

The Pink Skunk Clownfish (*Amphiprion perideraion*) is one of the more understated and elegant members of the anemonefish family. Characterised by its beautiful pastel pink-to-peach colouration and the sharp white dorsal stripe from which it earns its 'skunk' moniker, this species brings a delicate charm to a marine aquarium. Unlike some of their highly aggressive cousins, such as the Maroon or Tomato Clownfish, Pink Skunks are relatively mild-mannered. This makes them an excellent choice for a peaceful community reef setup. In the wild, they are obligate symbionts with specific sea anemones, but in the home aquarium, they adapt readily and thrive even without a host.
