About the Queen Arabesque Pleco
The Queen Arabesque Pleco (L260) is arguably one of the most stunning members of the Hypancistrus genus. Reaching a modest 9 to 10 cm in length, its entire body and fins are adorned in an intricate network of fine, contrasting black and white (or occasionally cream) vermiculations. Unlike the common plecos familiar to many hobbyists, this species is not a dedicated algae eater but primarily a carnivore.

Astronotus ocellatus
Large, aggressive cichlids may attempt to swallow the small pleco, potentially leading to fatal consequences for both fish due to the pleco's rigid pectoral spines.
