About the Yellow Coris Wrasse
The Yellow Coris Wrasse is a staple in the marine aquarium hobby, loved as much for its utilitarian pest-control habits as its vivid canary-yellow hue. Despite the common name, it is a true member of the Halichoeres genus and not a Coris wrasse at all. It darts energetically around the rockwork, bringing a dynamic splash of colour to the lower and middle strata of the tank while tirelessly scouring for microscopic prey.
